Javier “Steak” Gómez Silva — Wrestling Coach

Javier Gómez Silva is a former Mexican National Team Greco-Roman wrestler, accomplished international competitor, and active amateur MMA fighter. Javier represented Mexico at the 2023 Senior Pan-American Championships, finishing 4th in the Americas at 82kg, and later earned silver at the 2025 Mexican Open.

Now bringing his elite wrestling experience into MMA, Coach Javi leads the wrestling program at SVG MMA Academy, developing athletes with the technique, pressure, discipline, and competitive mindset forged through years of high-level international competition.
